Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly after agreeing to join the blues this summer enter the top 10 earners at Chelsea with estimated earnings of €300,000 and €162,000 weekly.
While Koulibaly, a defender from Napoli, is anticipated to join Chelsea for £33 million, Sterling signed for Chelsea for a contract worth up to £47.5 million.
The 31-year-old Koulibaly will be Chelsea’s first defensive addition following the exits of Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger.
After Romelu Lukaku left on loan for Inter Milan, Sterling will increase Tuchel’s potency up front.
Fabrizio Romano, an Italian transfer specialist, claimed that Koulibaly will sign a deal at Stamford Bridge worth £162,000 per week.
He will now rank as Chelsea’s sixth-highest-paid player as a result.
It was previously disclosed that Raheem Sterling and Tuchel had some incredibly nice meetings during which he was deeply impressed.
He will sign a contract that would pay him more than £300,000 a week, making him one of the top three earners in the Premier League, according to Matt Law of the Daily Telegraph.
He would now rank as the second-highest earner for the team.
Since Lukaku left, Kai Havertz, who makes £310,000 a week, is the Blues’ highest-paid player.
The final year of N’Golo Kante’s £290,000-a-week contract places him third behind Havertz and Sterling and has been linked with Arsenal.
Ben Chilwell is their best-paid defender, making £190k per week, while German forward Timo Werner earns £270k.
Koulibaly acknowledged a possible transfer to Stamford Bridge, as cited by Romain Collet-Gaudin: “I’ll confirm that later, but it’s on the correct track.”
Nathan Ake, who left Chelsea for Bournemouth in 2017, has also been linked with a return to Stamford Bridge from Manchester City that would cost at least £41 million.
