Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is being courted by several clubs in the Premier League.
Kvaratskhelia has been impressive for the Neapolitans, since signing for the club from Dinamo Batumi on July 1, 2022, for a fee of €13 million.
Premier League clubs interested in signing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was recently watched by scouts of Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Newcastle United during Georgia’s 3-1 defeat to Spain on Sunday, November 19, 2023.
Reports indicate that despite the plethora of star players on parade on the day, Kvaratskhelia was the main player in focus.
The 22-year-old scored the only goal for Georgia during the encounter, who dispatched an effort brilliantly into the bottom-left corner beyond the reach of Unai Simon in goal for Spain.
Several players who were instrumental in Napoli winning the Serie A last campaign, have been watched closely by clubs in Europe since they achieved that outstanding feat.
Kim Min-jae left the Naples-based club to join Bayern Munich in the 2023 summer transfer window, and Victor Osimhen has also gotten the interest of many top clubs in Europe.
Osimhen could exit Napoli this summer, as he has been in and out of issues with the club this campaign.
However, it will be impossible to decipher if both players will leave the Neapolitans in the coming months, given Napoli’s strict transfer business.
Kvaratskhelia is reportedly in talks with Napoli for a contract extension, which will see him remain at the club until 2028.
His current deal expires in 2027, and the Seria A champions are also hoping to offer him a huge pay rise, to ensure he isn’t enticed by a move away from the side.
Will Napoli sell Khvicha Kvaratskhelia?
It looks almost impossible that Napoli will lose their two star men in Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the transfer window.
Osimhen looks like the likelier player who might leave the Neapolitans this summer, with clubs ready to hunt for his services once again in the coming months.
Kvaratskhelia has scored 3 goals and provided 5 assists in 15 appearances across all competitions this season.
The former Rubin Kazan man will remain to be under the radar of the biggest of clubs in Europe, including; Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and PSG.
The 22-year-old has scored 17 goals and provided 22 assists in 58 appearances since he joined Napoli.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will feel a little bit dampened that he couldn’t guide Georgia to the 2024 European Championships that will be held in Germany.
Georgia finished 4th in Group A, and as such they will not be making an appearance at the tournament that will go down from June to July 2024.
Meanwhile, Kvaratskhelia has made 28 appearances for Georgia, scoring 15 goals and providing 7 assists across all competitions.
