The petition to replay the match between Germany and Spain in Euro 2024 has been signed by 350,000 fans all over the world.
The petition statement read, “In the 106th minute, a clear handball penalty was not given when Cucurella prevented a clear goal-scoring opportunity with his arm outstretched.”
“The referee, Anthony Taylor, let the game continue, and for inexplicable reasons, the VAR did not intervene.”
“And this was just one of many wrong decisions.
In the 77th minute, Nacho held Niklas Füllkrug clearly after a flat cross from Florian Wirtz, which caused him to fall and clearly prevented him from scoring.”
“These two clearly stated wrong decisions were clearly decisive for the game and would have changed the game. The two team should play the match again. If you agree, please sign this petition and make your fellow people aware of this petition.”
The escalating tension among the fan base was as a result of the failure of Anthony Taylor to award a penalty to the Germany national team in the first half of extra time.
However, UEFA will not take any action as they are currently preparing for the semi-finals of the tournament.

The controversial referee Taylor has returned to England, with referee Daniele Orsato set to officiate in the final of Euro 2024.
Orsato who is 48-year-old was in charge of the 2020 Champions League final between Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain and other prominent matches in the Champions League.
The German fans are still grieving over Taylor’s inconsistency in the quarter-finals after the Spain national team sent them out of the tournament.
Taylor’s style of officiating is extremely horrible. He was once demoted to the Championship because of his bad officiating in the Premier League.

The German national team will play against Hungary for the Nations League on September 7, 2024, at 7:45 p.m.
Germany manager Julian Nagelsmann will fancy a chance to win the Nations League. The manager is still in search of his first trophy as the manager of the German national team.
The Spain national team will play against the France national team in the Euro 2024 semi-finals on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 8:00 p.m.
Both teams have their eyes glued on the Euro 2024 final. Spain are expected to qualify for the final of the tournament because of the creativity in the squad.
If Spain triumph over France, they will play either England or the Netherlands in the final.
