The 2021-2022 Premier League season officially ended on May 22, 2022, and Manchester City retained the league title with a point above second-placed Liverpool, leaving many to wonder whether they will make it three in a row in the 2022-2023 Premier League season.

Recall that Manchester City won the league title in the 2020-2021 season before winning the 2021-2022 league title after a stiff two-sided competition between the club and Liverpool which earned City their 6th league title in the Premier League era.
