2022/2023 Premier League is here with it’s usual thrills and flex.

Prepare yourself for nine months of people whining about awful meals, trouble traveling, poor wifi, and late rewrites.

Despite the fact that we are a miserable lot, the biggest advantage of working as a journalist in the Premier League is that we have a thorough understanding of the subject at hand and can provide incisive and analytical commentary.

Manchester City won the Premier League in dramatic fashion in 2021–2022, finishing one point ahead of Liverpool on the last day to win the title.

In 2022–2023, City will be adamant about retaining their title, but Liverpool will be out for vengeance, and there may be further challengers as well.

The preseason gave fans a sneak peek at both title contenders and teams just trying to hang on in the Premier League this year.

Here are the teams that are expected to win the Premier League in 2022–2023.

    Manchester City

City is the clear favorite to win the championship after winning it in four of the previous five seasons.

Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus have both left for Chelsea and Arsenal respectively, but Erling Haaland’s signing is expected to aid their cause. In addition, City added Kalvin Phillips to help the midfield, while Julian Alvarez will add more offensive spark.

It will undoubtedly take something extraordinary to prevent City from winning the league once more.

    Liverpool

Liverpool will be especially motivated to win the league in 2022–23 after missing out on the quadruple last season and having to settle for the FA Cup and League Cup.

Sadio Mane’s exit to Bayern Munich is a setback, but Klopp will be hoping that Darwin Nunez, a new acquisition, adjusts fast, much like Luis Diaz did last year.

Although it is concerning that Liverpool have not yet strengthened their midfield, the German manager, Jurgen Klopp, ought to have his team within shouting distance of another title assault.

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham hasn’t won the league since 1961, as is well known, but under Antonio Conte, there is a genuine air of optimism in the air.

Tottenham already ready for the 2022/2023 Premier League season.

With players like Harry Kane and Son Heung-min, Tottenham is capable of seriously troubling defenses. Additionally, the addition of Yves Bissouma and Ivan Perisic gives them additional quality in the midfield.

Richarlison’s high-profile acquisition was an even greater benefit, and Conte now has access to a wealth of offensive potential.

Last season, Conte defeated rival Arsenal to help Tottenham finish in the top four; this season, he wants to go much farther.

    Chelsea

The second half of last season was very precarious for Thomas Tuchel’s team because owner Roman Abramovich eventually left the team. After finishing third the previous season, Todd Boehly is now in charge, and Chelsea will want to increase the pressure on City and Liverpool.

Raheem Sterling took the position of the departed Romelu Lukaku for Chelsea, while Kalidiou Koulibaly was brought in to start the defensive retool. However, there are still many holes in Chelsea’s squad, and some players have voiced a wish to go.

Although Chelsea have several quality players at their disposal, more acquisitions are required if they are to make a genuine title challenge.

    Manchester United

Despite a terrible season in which they placed sixth, United remains optimistic about a successful new era under Erik ten Hag.

However, there is still a lot of work to be done at Old Trafford as the team requires a massive rebuild. In the summer, United brought in players like Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, and Lisandro Martinez, and they might bring in a few more.

At this point, a title run would seem overly optimistic, but Sky Bet has United as their sixth favorite. If the season gets off to a good start, the new manager bump might offer an early lift.

Other 2022/2023 Premier League Possible Contenders

At odds of 40/1, Arsenal is the sixth favorite, and oddly, Newcastle, who has lots of money to spend, is second at odds of 100/1.

2022/2023 Premier League Contenders And The Possible Winner

It should come as no surprise that the three Premier League newcomers, Bournemouth, Nottingham Forest, and Fulham, have the lowest odds of winning the championship.

How do these predictions appear to you, in your opinion? Do you think Manchester City will win the Premier League three times in a row, or will there be another eventful season?
